Hey everyone!
I’m back with a card I created last weekend but didn’t have a chance to post until now! It’s a sweet little birthday card!
Started with a piece Rustic White cardstock and stamped the presents from Make a Wish Additions using Berry Sorbet, Hawaiian Shores and Summer Sunrise inks. Don’t you just love the new Berry Sorbet ink?! Also stamped the little round burst from Rosie Posie using Jet Black Archival Ink.
I then went over the whole piece with the Picket Fence Distress Dauber from Ranger to give it a fainter look, before stamping more presents on top. I like the layered look it gave, a bit like some patterned papers! I stamped the sentiment from Think Big Favourites #12 using Versafine Onyx Black.
I then stamped the cupcake from Birthday by the Numbers using Pure Poppy, Summer Sunrise and Hawaiian Shores ink, trimmed out and adhered to a a cardstock circle which was die-cut using the Limitless Layers dies. This was then matted onto another die cut from the same die collection, this time with Pure Poppy cardstock. All gluing done with Pinflair Glue Gel as usual. A thin Pure Poppy mat and an Aqua Mist card base round it all up.
I hope you’ve all been having a wonderful weekend. I’m hoping to create another card soon and share it with you this coming week! Thanks for stopping by!!
Stunning card T – that background paper is genius! Grateful to see one of your cards 'for free'….I know the majority of them are printed in magazines now 😉 x
So pretty, T! I love the stamped background, it really makes the cupcake pop!
What a sweet, happy card, T! I love your background stamping – it rocks!
