Hey everyone! How are you today?
Before we move on to today’s card I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for the overwhelming support you’ve shown me in this round of Gallery Idol. Everyone has been so encouraging and sweet about my creations and it really means so much to me because I did work so hard on them!
Voting is only on for a couple more days so if you still have a vote to spare I would be grateful beyond words if you would cast it for me. Here’s a cool little widget that will take you straight to my entry!!
Right, onto today’s card! This one really makes me think of strawberry shortcake and Summer!
Super-sweet, no?
I started with a Vintage Cream card base. I then used my Parisian Lace Doily Die to die-cut the doily from Fun Foam, applied some repositionable spray adhesive to the back and voila – instant stamp!
I put my stamp to use, inking it with a mix of Berry Sorbet ink and Jenny Bowlin Malted Milk ink, and stamping repeatedly on my base.
I then repeatedly stamped the butterflies from My Mind’s Eye Follow Your Heart: Be Happy set using Berry Sorbet ink.
After that all that was left was to affix the decorative brad from the same My Mind’s Eye range and that’s it!!
I hope you’re all having a wonderful day! Thanks so much for stopping by!!
Hi Taheera
Sorry I have not stopped by in a little while. It's been a hectic month or two for me!
This card is absolutely gorgeous, I love your use of the doily die as a stamp, genius!!! It looks amazing. Gorgeous colours too.
Well done on getting so far with Gallery Idol too, I hope you win 🙂

What a cool technique…when looking at it at first I was thinking how did she do that? (thinking you must have sprayed it to get that look). It is really pretty and you're right…it does remind me of strawberry shortcake!
You are so clever. Pretty card.
You clever gal! You've proven that the Parisian doily makes a wonderful stamp, Taheerah! Lovely, soft colors, and that sweet decorative brad polish off a darling card!
hey there…the cassette tape svg file is from svgcuts.com…this year's valentine set.
Very soft and pretty effect. those little butterflies are so sweet!
Absolutely beautiful Taheera!!!
