Hey everyone! I’ve got a really tiny cute little sweetheart of a card to share with you for Day 20!
This little cutie isn’t even 2.75″ tall! How adorable! Let’s take a look!
I told you huh? Such a little sweetie! My friend Miriam will tell you that I do indeed do ‘cutesy’ cards – and I’m very soon going to have to stop denying it!
I started by creating my tiny card base from Rustic Cream cardstock, then die-cutting the gingerbread house using the Gingerbread Lane die. I left part of the die overlapping the fold so I got a shaped card.
Next I die cut the house properly from some Simple Stories patterned paper – perfect colour and has some ‘iced snowflakes’ too! I stamped the outline of the house and windows from Gingerbread Lane using Versamark ink, then heat embossed with WOW! Opaque Vanilla White embossing powder for a vintage cream like piping! I adhered the house to the base using Pinflair Glue Gel.
After that I only needed to add a few more little details! I stamped the door and heart directly onto the house using Berry Sorbet ink, then used the same ink to stamp the little candy canes on Rustic Cream cardstock and trimmed them out. I used two on the house (adhered with Pinflair) and one adhered as smoke coming out of the chimney and attaching that darling little die cut from Tiny Tags! The tag is stamped with one of the little gingerbread men from the set using Versamagic ink in Sahara Sand, double-tapped with Kraft ink too, one of the hearts using Berry Sorbet ink, and the edges stamped with the loopy border from the set using Kraft ink. I edged the tag with VintageTouch Tea Dye Duo inks and added the sentiment, from Tiny Treats: Christmas, using SU! Soft Suede ink. And voilà!
I really hope you like this little cutie! I’ll be back tomorrow with Day 21 – see you soon!
So cute! I love little bitty projects and this one is adorable! 🙂
