Hi everyone, Happy Sunday! I hope you’ve all been having a lovely weekend!
I’m bringing you a little card today that looks simple on first glance, but most certainly took a lot of work to put together!
Cute huh?! Let me tell you how I did it!
I started with the Studio Calico Speech Bubbles set that was from the Venice Beach add-on kit. I stamped various bubbles onto a post-it note, then cut them out. Next I adhered the post-it bubbles to pieces of Amy Tangerine patterned paper and used them as a guide to trim out the patterned speech bubbles! Some were right side up and some were on the reverse of the patterned paper.
I then adhered them in a cluster of varying heights onto a Stamper’s Select White card base using Pinflair Glue Gel. I stamped the XOXO bubble onto white cardstock using Smokey Shadow ink then trimmed and adhered that last. And that’s it!
Well, my glorious two weeks off have finally come to an end and I’m back to work tomorrow! Wish me luck! Hopefully I’ll see you back here tomorrow, in the meantime thank you so much for stopping by!
Amazing card! Love the way you did the patterns & all that dimension.
Sooo cute!! I love this. And lucky you to have the hard to find speech bubbles set!!
Love all the layers/different heights! Going back to work is no fun! Good luck!
Sweet and very cool!
Enjoy work tomorrow – it's gonna hurt us after 2 weeks off y'know!
Hugs!

Taheerah, I love this card! It seems like it was inspired by the new Windows 8 interface…or perhaps I'm just that much a geek?! 😉 You did a wonderful job!
