Hi everyone! Sorry for being a bit late!
I’m back with Day 10 of my Valentine’s Showcase! Just a few more days left now!
For those of you who are catching up, here’s what’s going on:
Due to the popularity of my 25 Days of Christmas Cards posts (well, they were popular with me anyway!), I thought I’d bring you a series of cards that are perfect for Valentine’s Day! And, just to give this series a little twist, I am challenging myself and keeping them all as cards that are suitable for guys! Every year I see a smorgasbord of beautiful Valentine’s cards, and they are all very well done and very inspiring – but they all tend to be very girly. So I’m bucking the trend and bringing you a fortnight of cards dedicated to the men in our lives!
I’ve had so much fun with this series – and it’s been challenging as well!
Here’s what I have for you today:
Very CAS but I love the play on typography and how modern it is!
I started with a Rustic White card base and stamped the heart and brackets using Amuse Eucalyptus and Seattle respectively. The stamps I used aren’t for sale – they’re my very own that I designed and had commissioned to use on the backs of my cards!
I then drew a few faint pencil lines to position my letters from the Block Alphabet die collection and die cut them out! Simple as that!
By the way, in case anyone is curious, here are the other stamps I designed and commissioned to use on the back:
And a close-up:
Fun right?! I love how they’ve turned out! If you ever get a card from me in future look for these on the back!
Anyway, back to crafting and designing! I would love to hear your thoughts on today’s cards and the series. There are just 4 days left – what would you like to see featured?!
Thanks for stopping by!
Oh right, the bracket heart is the same as your watermark! What a great idea to have that on the backs of your cards. So official-looking! And great that you were able to use it for the front of your card too! Love the negative dies.
Fabulous! I love the stamps you designed, too, T.!
Great card Taheerah! I love the colors you chose, and I'm loving your stamp that you designed!
