Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday!
I’ve got another card for you today that wasn’t successful for the Supply Savvy call. Can you tell I’ve had such a crazy time of it lately that I haven’t been able to create anything new yet?! Heh.
Anyway, I revisted the whole nautical theme and ended up with this:
I really like how this turned out, what do you think?
I started with a Stamper’s Select White card base. For the strips I used the inside of a security envelope and cut it down into strips of graduating size, inked all the edges and then adhered to the base using Scor-Tape.
I then stamped the letters from Headline Alphabet using Versamark ink and heat embossed with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Pale embossing powder. I created my anchor letter using Bountiful Banners and Background Builders: Round in Circles and adhered all the layers with Pinflair Glue Gel. And voila!
Right, back to all the other stuff that’s going on, so very short and sweet from me today! I do hope to be back to normal for tomorrow. I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way – thanks so much for stopping by!
Supplies:
You stamped on the security liner … that's awesome!!! I'll have to show you the woven security liner journaling card I made for PL one day. I collected 20 different security patterns over a couple months … who knew there were so many?!? Can't believe this card of yours didn't get picked up, it's fantastic!!
ummm…LOVE!
Can't believe this wasn't accepted its FAB! You inspire me 🙂 hugs Bev x
fantastic design. love the navy and gold combo. You are really rocking the gold trend!
This is a 'stunner'! LOVE it!! 🙂
Oh and to think that I've thrown away a crafting supply all of this time! LOL!
Love the way you've tied an everyday thing with such a fabulous trend! You're brain was on fire for that call!
Hugs!

Awesome!
Envelope liner idea is genius!
Oh my gosh, this is brilliant! Such a bummer it's a reject, it ticks it all in my books 🙂
Very cool! I kept staring at those strips trying to figure out what they were, love that you used a security envelope!
