Hey everyone! Happy Friday!
Today’s card is one commissioned by a friend for the upcoming birth of his sister’s baby. I don’t make baby cards often, but I was up for the challenge! Here’s what I ended up with:

I started with a Rustic White card base and stamped the shelf from Mama Elephant’s Nursery Deco set using Kraft ink. I then stamped the animals onto Simple Stories Baby Steps patterned paper (sadly discontinued!) using SU! Soft Suede ink, trimmed them out and adhered to the base using Pinflair Glue Gel. I just love all those cute little patchwork animals!
Next I set about building the banner and streamer elements in the top left corner. I used stamps from Birthday Style, Avery Elle’s Celebrate and Mama Elephant’s Nursery Deco, using a mix of Kraft and Sweet Blush ink, and some stamping off of some images to maintain a softer palette.
Finally I added the sentiment from Signature Greetings using Soft Suede ink.
And, although I don’t usually stamp the inside of a card, I did in this instance and ended up with this.

How adorable!! Those stuffed animals…just the cutest! Love the soft neutral colors too, quite unusual for a baby card but awesome!

Breathtakingly sweet! I love the papers you chose for the animals and that little giraffe is knocked down, and loving the layers of soft stamping in the upper corner. I usually don't stamp inside my card either, but you were so smart to do it in this case!
