Hi everyone! Happy Friday!!
So, Day 3 of introductory posts for the Uniko Studio August Release! Here we go!
Today I’m featuring the next installment of the Flower Power series – and I think this one is my favourite so far!!
Flower Power #3 has the most beautiful flower and a great outline stem, along with some great sentiments in that signature font! Such a great set to have in your collection – and of course it works great with all the previous Flower Power sets too!!
I decided to do something a little different and set about creating this:
Love how this turned out!
I started with a Rustic White card base and stamped my outline stem using SU! Soft Suede ink. I then did some selective inking to add a few more leaves.
I then filled in the leaves using the other two Flower Power sets, using SU! inks in Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Baked Brown Sugar and Pistachio Pudding.
Finally I added the sentiment from All Occasions #3 using Soft Suede ink and surrounded it with some enamel dots!
So what do you think? Are you in love big time?! I really recommend checking out the Uniko blog where Bev is officially introducing the release every day – and also to the designers who are also showcasing this set! Make sure you comment on each of their gorgeous creations – they deserve it!!
I’d love to know what you think of today’s creation – I love it when you leave love! Thanks so much for stopping by – I hope to see you again tomorrow for the next day of the release – and don’t forget to tune in a little bit later today when I’ll be announcing the winner of StampSpotlight!!
oh my – how did i miss this fab feature on your blog?! and i love your spotlighted stamps. i totally endorse On The Strip 2 😉 what a great way to use these stamps. btw, feel free to drop a few cards into Little Tangles if you ever feel compelled to ink up your N&T stamps.
oh my, this is gorgeous. i never thought to flip the stems the other way. and good thinking on using the other flower power set! teehee.
I love this, T.! It's so cool!
Pretty card and pretty colors!
Oh yes, the upside down leaves direct your eye down to the sentiment. And the solid dark one, where your eye goes first, points right to the sentiment. LOVE.
Thinking outside the box at it's best! x
Simply gorgeous card! Loving this color combo lots and lots.
