For my final introductory post I’ve gone all starry eyed! You may know that I love everything to do with stars and so when I saw the Starry Skies and Stitched Stars dies my heart skipped several beats!! The Stitched Stars dies feature our signature stitching and also the negative stitching left behind on the negative die cut – so awesome!! And the Starry Skies die can work in portrait or landscape for an A2 card, meaning you can die cut across your whole base in seconds! Laura always comes up with the most awesome products!!
I decided to combine both dies on one card and came up with this:
Loving how this turned out!!
I started by using the Starry Skies die as an impression plate to add impressed stars all over my panel of True Black cardstock!
Once this was done I die cut three of the stitched stars from the panel before spraying the whole panel with Heidi Swapp Colour Shine Mist in Black Magic!
Next I took another panel of the cardstock and stamped the letters from Mama Elephant’s Flashy Letters set using Versamark ink and heat embossed with Filigree Clear embossing powder before spraying with Heidi Swapp Colour Shine Mists in Mustard, Georgia Peach and Gold Lame.
I adhered my panel to a base then added the stars layer using Pinflair Glue Gel. Love all the interest you get from just a few effects like this!!
So, now you’ve seen this awesome set officially introduced – maybe you ought to head over to the Lil’ Inker Designs site and take a look around! Tell ’em Taheerah sent ya, lol! Please note that the Snarky Sentiments set is currently sold out but is expected back in stock soon! In the meantime I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way! Thanks so much for stopping by – and please tune in later today for the final day of StampSpotlight!
