Hey everyone! How’s your Saturday been?
Today I’m bringing you a sort of modern-vintage mix of a card:
What do you think? I guess it’s not bad, but not quite what I had in mind.
I started by die cutting the jar from Kraft cardstock using the Friendship Jar dies, then stamped with the co-ordinating image from Friendship Jar using Soft Suede ink. I added lots of glitter with my Wink of Stella Glitter pens (Gold and Clear) then stamped the stars from Lawn Fawn’s Blue Skies using Baked Brown Sugar ink. I dabbed some WPlus9 White Pigment ink over one of the stars and used my glitter pen to pick up and move that colour over to some of the other stars.
On to the base now. This is a Shimmer Cream card base which I stamped with Fancy Flourishes along with more stars. I masked off part of the base and sprayed with Glimmer Mist in Old Lace and splattered on some Heidi Swapp Colour Shine Mist in Gold Lame. I added the sentiment from Kelly Purkey’s Make A Wish set (Baked Brown Sugar ink again but for some reason stamped kinda grey) before adhering my jar in place using Pinflair Glue Gel.
That’s it from me for today, thanks for stopping by and I’d love it if you left some love before you went on your way.
Supplies:
It looks like the stars are bursting out of the jar– LOVE it! What a fab card! You are AMAZING, Sweets:)
