Hey everyone! Happy Thursday! God I can’t wait for the weekend, lol!
Today’s card is another I made ages ago for a publication call – I am going to run out of these very soon but I’ve just no energy to create right now! I absolutely adore this little one though, it is so cute!
See what I mean?!
I started with a piece of Rustic White cardstock and stamped the snowman from Hero Arts’ Snow Much Joy set using Smokey Shadow ink. I trimmed him out and drew around him on another piece of cardstock, this time folded in half. I had the top of the hat overlapping the fold so that when I trimmed that piece out I had a shaped card base!
I adhered my snowman to that base then overstamped him with the sentiment from Tag Its #8 using Kraft ink. I coloured his nose and berries with Copics.
Next to add a bit of interest I stamped the hat, scarf and hat brim onto different papers from the Simply Stories Handmade Holiday patterned papers – one of my all-time favourite collections! I trimmed them out and adhered them to the snowman, then coated the entire front with Antique Matte Mod Podge for that fabulous finish!
Speaking of finish, it’s time for me to head off! I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way! Thanks so much for stopping by!
