Hey everyone! Happy Monday – and welcome to the Lil’ Inker Designs November Release!!
I missed out on playing with the October Release as my goodies were severely delayed in the mail. But I have all I need to play for November – yay!!!
This release is a really awesome one – just you wait and see what we’ve got in store for you – literally!
You should have made your way over here from the totally talented Suzanne’s blog. If not then feel free to head back to the Lil’ Inker Designs blog and start again!
This month we are showcasing the products in any order we choose! I think this is super fun as you’ll see a bit of everything from everyone each day – definitely worth hopping to every single DT member’s blog for this!! AND we have an *amazing* Guest Designer this month – check out the Lil’ Inker Designs blog for more info!!
And just to reiterate – it is well worth hopping and commenting as there’s a chance to win prizes! This month there are 3 $15 store credits up for grabs that will be selected at random from one of our blogs!!
So today I’m showing you a bit from an awesome die collection that has been much requested – Stitched Ovals dies!!! These ovals are just the right proportion for elegant frames, impressions, window cards – you name it!! And with our clever stitching detail that is added to the positive and negative of the dies these give you even more bang for your buck!!
I decided to create a little keepsake frame/card for a new baby, and had the perfect opportunity to sneak another new peek on there too:
I just love how this turned out!!
I started with die cutting a folded base from Stamper’s Select White cardstock, then cut two large ovals. I die cut a smaller oval from one of them to leave a frame.
On the solid oval I sprayed with Heidi Swapp Colour Shine Mists in Blush and Coral to colour it. I then sneaked another new product onto it – the Cover Up Swirls die!! This has such elegant swirls that I couldn’t not use it!! I impressed it into the oval for a totally beautiful look!!
I adhered some stamped/embossed letters (from Mama Elephant’s Flashy Letters set, heat embossed with WOW! Opaque Bright White embossing powder) then adhered the white oval frame with Pinflair Glue Gel for a beautiful finish!! You could totally used these oval dies for cute luggage-style tags – that’s another thing this frame reminds me of!!
So, now you’ve seen all this awesome loot – maybe you ought to head over to the Lil’ Inker Designs site and take a look around! Tell ’em Taheerah sent ya, lol! In the meantime I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way! Thanks so much for stopping by!!
