Hey everyone! Happy Christmas Eve eve!
I’ve been super-busy today completing the rest of my Christmas cards! All done, yay! 100 cards in something like 6 hours total – I think that deserves a celebration!
I needed a break from creating after all that (lol) so today I’m sharing a mini card I created a little while back. 🙂
I was so excited when Pantone named Radiant Orchid as the Colour of the Year for 2014! I *love* purple – it’s my favourite colour!! I decided to create a little card that was all wonderful shades of purple, so an ombre card was in order!
What do you think? Cute huh? 🙂
I started by creating a shaped card base from Stamper’s Select White cardstock, die cutting it using Lawn Fawn’s Stitched Journalling Card die. I then die cut a full shape and blended in Distress Inks in Dusty Concord and Milled Lavender, the spritzed with water to help with the blending and add a few spots of interest. 🙂
I used the same blend of inks to add the sentiments from Mama Elephant’s Many Thanks and Today Was sets then adhered the result to my card base and I was all done!
Well I still have a whole host of things to do today, hence the really quick post! But I will be back again tomorrow. 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by – I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way!
