Hey everyone! Me again!
This is my third post for today! Please scroll down to see my other posts! You definitely don’t want to miss this week’s #FollowFriday!! 😀
So my final post today is sneaking a last-minute entry in for the Mama Elephant January 2014 Challenge! Nothing like that mad dash to get something completed on time huh? 😛
Here’s the gorgeous photo inspiration we were given to play with:
*swoon* Such dreamy colours and elements!
I decided to focus on the pinks and the jewel-encrusted bag. Here’s what I came up with:
I love this so so much!!!
I started by die cutting the Embellished Tag die from Pure White cardstock and spritzing it with a water/Perfect Pearls mix. I mixed that with Mama Elephant inks in Lollipop, Bubblegum and Blush then watercoloured the tag. I stamped the reverse of it with the top tag image from XOXO then used that as a reference point to trim out the little heart!
I repeated the die cutting process with some vellum spritzed with the same mix and cut the heart from that too. I then stamped it all over with the tiny flower cluster from Love from Above with Hero Arts Silver ink then heat embossed with WOW! Clear Semi Dull embossing powder. I adhered the tags together with Pinflair Glue Gel for some dimension.
I watercoloured a square panel in the same manner then adhered some silver cord to it using Glossy Accents then adhered my tags with Pinflair. I stamped the sentiment from XOXO using Versafine Onyx Black ink, trimmed it out then adhered in place with Pinflair. Finally I adhered the whole thing to a card base and I was all done!
Well that’s me done for today – phew! I would love it if you would leave some love before you went on your way! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Wow, you are on fire today, girl! Love this card; it's so elegant and light. Beautiful!
BEAUTIFUL!!!
Oooh, very pretty! Love all the impact your card has. Stunning.
Pretty, pretty, pretty! Love the tag and that great silver cord!
So light, simple and beautiful, but with a lot of coloring techniques behind. That's why your projects look so… yours.
The level of details on your cards is astonishing. Seriously, I am always amazed at how you take a concept and figure out a way to execute it. Just gorgeous, Taheerah. I really like what you did on the vellum–it's a great effect.
