Hey everyone! Happy Saturday!
Today we’re having some extra fun over at Uniko Studio as we revisit an awesome older set for an awesome blog hop! This month it’s the turn of Beautiful Blooms! This set was *super* popular upon its release last year, and with the unique flower and leaf images it’s easy to see why!!
And there’s some awesome news! This set now has matching dies!! The DT didn’t get theirs in time but I know Bev is sharing a card with these in action today!
I opted to use the smallest leaf image to build a springtime-inspired wreath, and here’s the result:
What do you think? I love how it turned out!
I started with a Rustic White cardstock panel and die cut the wreath from it using the WPlus9 Woodland Wreaths die. I then splattered the negative and centre die cuts with Heidi Swapp Colour Shine mists in Bronze, Tropicana Teal and Coral.
I then stamped the leaf image onto the wreath using Studio Calico Colour Theory ink in Mint Hint (stamped off once). *Love* this colour!! I then used the sequin stamps from A Gift for You and stamped them with Studio Calico Colour Theory inks in Blush Crush, Coral Bay and Sunny Day, Hero Arts ink in Silver and Simon Says Stamp ink in Sea Glass. I added a little glitter onto a few of them using Glossy Accents.
I pieced the wreath and centre back into place on the panel then die cut the whole thing with the Simon Says Stamp Big Hello die, and die cut the word again from Sea Glass cardstock. I pieced all the pieces back together on my card base, added part of a sentiment from A Gift For You using Studio Calico Colour Theory ink in Doc Brown and I was all done!
So in case you are new to the Revisited Blog Hop then it couldn’t be simpler! You have until 23:59 UK time on Friday 14th March (19:59 EST) to leave comments on the Design Team’s posts to be in with a chance of winning this set plus the BRAND NEW! matching dies!! And believe me, even with no prize on offer you would want to comment anyway – their projects are *amazing*!!
Speaking of the DT – it’s a bit of a bittersweet day as we bid farewell to Gayatri and Stacey. These uber-talented ladies will be very much missed in our little Uniko world. But we are delighted to welcome Gillian to the fold – her CAS style is gorgeous and I know she will be right at home with us. 🙂 Please do give them all the love they deserve!
I’m linking this card up to the first day of the latest class from Online Card Classes – Clean & Simple Card Making 3: One Layer Cards as yesterday’s lesson included inlaid die cuts. 🙂
Well that’s it from me for today, but I will be back soon with something new! I do hope you will leave some love before you head on your way though! Thanks so much for stopping by!
