Today I’m sharing a card for the latest Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge – woo!!
Today’s challenge is an Anything Goes challenge, which is as the name suggests – use any Paper Smooches stamps and/or dies in your creation!
Here’s what I came up with:
I totally love this!
I started with a Pure White card base and adhered a piece of patterned paper from the Studio Calico Printshop collection, deliberately adhering it a little ‘wonky’ for a fun effect. I then took a journalling card from the Gossamer Blue February 2014 Life Pages kit and stapled an acetate card from the Freckled Fawn OHDEERME February 2014 kit to it. Love the look of that gorgeous frame!
I stamped the sentiments from Bold Buzzwords onto the card using Distress Ink in Brushed Corduroy, then stamped them slightly offset on the acetate using Versamark ink before heat embossing with Filigree Black embossing powder.
I adhered the journalling card to the card using some amazing washi tape from Pinkfresh Studio! You should see this beauty in real life – gold with an ombre of pink and orange with almost a neon effect! Swoon!! Finally, some cork embellishments from Studio Calico and enamel stars from Freckled Fawn finished off this funky card!

This card is sooo cool! I especially love that acetate with the gorgeous frame and sentiment… I had no idea we could heat emboss onto acetate.
