Hey everyone! Happy Thursday!

I’m up on the Newton’s Nook blog today with a totally awesome card! I’ve been using Winston heavily in my cards recently so it was time to go back to my all-time favourite stamps featuring Newton himself!

Here’s what I came up with:

This one was a total labour of love and I am so thrilled with how it turned out!! 

I started with a panel of Rustic White cardstock and die cut the letters from it using the Spotlight Grand Alpha dies. I then took another panel of cardstock that was the same size and traced the letters onto it lightly using a pencil so that I knew my positioning. 

Then came the fun – all those Newtons!! I used stamps from Newton’s Antics, Newton’s Holiday Mischief and Newton’s Birthday Bash and stamped them all with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I had to use masking in some places to get all those Newtons in there! I then coloured them all with Copics.

I adhered the negative letters panel to the Newton panel using Pinflair Glue Gel then stamped and coloured a few more Newtons and adhered them in place using Pinflair so it looked like they were popping out of the panel!

Finally I stamped the sentiment from Neat & Tangled’s Across The Card set using Versafine Onyx Black ink and adhered my finished piece to a Rustic White card base and I was all done!!
