Hey everyone! Welcome back!
This is my *third* post of the day, phew! Please scroll down to see a special sneak peek of my guest design post for Virginia’s View Challenge, and a little further down after that for the latest Runway Inspired Challenge. 🙂
I’m up on the Newton’s Nook blog today with a totally sweet card! I was so in love with all the Newton images from the latest release, but one in particular caught my eye!
Here’s what I came up with:Â
I so love how this turned out!! Can you recognise the image? That’s right, it’s the image of Newton waiting on a rooftop for Santa from the Newton’s Curious Christmas set! I love when I can use stamps in an outside-the-box way!Â
With some clever masking, I stamped Newton twice onto a Pure White card base using Versfine Onyx Black ink. Don’t they look like they’re snuggling?!
I watercoloured my images with Distress Markers and that’s all there was to it. Sometimes you don’t need a sentiment. 🙂
Please do leave a comment on the Newton’s Nook blog – and while you’re there take a look at the latest Inky Paws Challenge too!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way!

So cute 🙂
This is very "YOU"! I love it!
So sweet, and love the colouring 🙂
What a delightful scene of two sweet kitties! Wish mine would sit that peacefully together! Catapult would be head thumpin' Velcro while he tries to catch her tail! Always a pleasure to see your amazing work!
Hugs,
Debbie
Too sweet, and love slightly mottled look to the coloring!

This is absolutely darling! I love how you think outside the box…LOVE!
