Newton’s Nook Designs January 2015 Release – Introducing Newton Dreams of Paris!

I’m back today to welcome to Day 2 of the Newton’s Nook January Release!

We have TWO *awesome* sets being released this month – and you’re totally invited to come party with us!

This month it’s all about lurve! Today’s set is my favourite of the release because it not only features Newton but it also has a touch of the French about it – Newton Dreams of Paris!!

I couldn’t wait to ink up this baby! Here’s what I came up with:

Ooh la la? I love how this turned out!!

I started with a Pure White card base and adhered some patterned paper from the Glitz Yours Truly collection then splattered on some Heidi Swapp Colour Shine Mist in Gold Lame. I then adhered a journal card from the NEW! Pinkfresh Studio Up In The Clouds Collection and layered a piece of vellum over it.  On the vellum I stamped the Eiffel Tower using Versamark ink and heat embossed using WOW! Metallic Gold Sparkle embossing powder. I added a piece of washi tape too. 🙂


Next I stamped the two Newtons (and that fun moustache!) onto a spare piece of cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink then coloured with Copics. I trimmed them out and adhered to my card using Pinflair Glue Gel. Finally I stamped the hearts using Mama Elephant ink in Lollipop and the sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black ink and I was all done!

  11. Just love this Newton dreams of Paris! Sooooooo cute, love it! Love the cloudy backing paper and adding a vellum over it is a brilliant idea:),Just love everything!!!
