Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday!
I absolutely love all the traditions of Christmas. Though I’m not a Christian, I love things such as carols and the story of the Nativity. For quite a modern person I do love tradition as well
Today’s project is an utterly cute take on the Christmas Story, with the Little Baby Jesus set from the latest Neat & Tangled release taking centre stage on a trio of gift tags. Little Baby Jesus was debuted yesterday, but I couldn’t resist using it today on my tags which actually are showing off another brand new set today called Please Deliver. Perfect for dressing up your envelopes with a handwritten style, it (in my mind) also doubles up perfectly for the reverse of gift tags as well.
And though I do love tradition (and using this set in its intended way would go along with that), the rebel in me won out and I ended up with these:
Don’t they make just the cutest, most perfect tags? They’d also work great for baby gifts as well as Christmas!
My gift tags are die cut using the second largest die in the new Scalloped die set. I added some splatter (of course) and my sentiments, and then punched holes and threaded some gold string through them. The Little Baby Jesus images were stamped then coloured with Copics before being cut out with the coordinating dies. Coordinating dies definitely won me over this release, especially for mass production!
And here’s the reverse of these adorable cuties. Stamped in the same manner as my tag on Monday, with the same splatter to boot. They just look so perfectly dressed up!
Gift giving never looked so adorable.
I do strongly encourage you to visit the Neat & Tangled Blog to see what the rest of the DT has created and to hop along and leave them some love! There are prizes in it for you!
I’ll be back tomorrow with the final day of release projects – and tomorrow’s project is my favourite of the entire week so I do hope you’ll stop by to check it out!

First time here. Enjoyed seeing your creativity. I have yet to buy a single die. In the beginning I just thought it was a waste of money since I could just fussy cut everything out. But the more I see the cleanness of the cut when using dies I’m having second thoughts!
Absolutely adorable!!!

The scalloped edges, colours and sentiments: an eye-catching combination. Seeing these makes my heart warm…and festive! Awesome showcases, my incredibly talented friend!
