Hi everyone! Happy Sunday!
The latest Essentials by Ellen Mix It Up Challenge was one I just couldn’t resist – after all it combined two of my most favourite companies! The challenge was to combine Essentials by Ellen and Pinkfresh Studio products, and I couldn’t wait to get started! I actually made a trio of cards, but decided to tease them out over the next few days. *wink*
So, let’s jump straight into today’s card! I don’t know about you but I don’t think you can ever have too many ‘Thank You’ cards. It’s so important that we acknowledge people with an act of thanks when they’ve said or done something for us! Thank You cards are probably one of my most favourite to make – and the Essentials by Ellen ‘Many Thanks’ die makes quick work of saying ‘Thank You’ in style!
See what I mean? Quick and easy – I didn’t even include any stamping on this one!
I used patterned papers from the *amazing* Pinkfresh Studio Indigo Hills Collection (I’m going to run out soon at this rate, as I just keep using it!). As the sentiment was ‘Many Thanks’ I thought I’d die cut many of them, and layer them together for a fun focal point! Each one is from a different patterned paper and the end result is really striking!
I added a little gold splatter onto my card front (again another awesome patterned paper design) and called it done! The die cuts are adhered to each other (and to the card) only in the centres, so you get a great touch of dimension too! *smile*
There’s still a couple of days to enter the challenge, so I’ll be back with a couple more cards over the next couple of days!
