Hey everyone! Happy Thursday – and welcome back to the Winnie & Walter Share The Love week featuring an amazing collaboration with none other than Ellen Hutson!! Hasn’t this collaboration week just been *awesome*?! When two of my favourite companies combine you just know it’s going to be spectacular!!

All this week there are going to be different challenges and tons of inspiration on the Winnie & Walter blog, featuring a harmonious blend of supplies from both companies! There’ll be loads of opportunities to win goodies too!!

Today’s challenge is a Transparent Challenge, meaning you need to use a transparent material such as vellum, acetate, tissue paper and so on. I thought long and hard about just what transparent elements I wanted to include – and how to include them! Here’s what I came up with:

I love how this tag turned out!!

I impressed the Many Thanks die into some letterpress cardstock that I’d die cut with one of the w&w tag dies from the Essentials: Katharine collection! Impressing the sentiment is a great way to stretch your dies! 

I used stamps from the In Bloom: Anna’s Flora to add my gold floral elements – heat embossing on acetate and vellum and carefully trimming them out. A leaf cluster from In Bloom: Addie’s Garden was stamped on vellum and watercoloured using the same rose gold mist I created for Monday’s card.

 

White, gold and pink needed a splash of black to give a bit of pop and interest! I heat embossed the ticket image from The Write Stuff: Love Story onto acetate and added that to my cluster, with a black peg holding everything in place. Love how this turned out!
