Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday!

It’s time for another Runway Inspired Challenge! I so love creating for these!!

Here’s the *awesome* inspiration image for this challenge:

Now that certainly makes a statement! Love the mod pattern on the shoulders and boots!

Here’s what I came up with: 

I love how this turned out!!

I started with a panel of Shimmer Cream cardstock and blended Distress Inks in Tattered Rose and Tea Dye over it, then misted it with Perfect Pearls Mist and brushed over some Perfect Pearls in Confetti White too. I then impressed it with the Sunrise Impression Plate and adhered it to my card base.

Next I set about recreating that awesome panel! I punched out large and small squares of Royal Velvet cardstock, Summer Sunrise cardstock and Paint The Town Pink cardstock, punching out the smaller squares from the centres of the larger ones. I laid them out in the correct layout and adhered them to a separate piece of cardstock using Multi Matte Medium. I use a Copic Marker to add the contrasting lines between some of the pieces then adhered the panel to my card.

A sentiment from Altenew’s Label Love set, stamped with Versamark ink, completed the look!

So anyway, now I’m all done squealing and monkey clapping with excitement and all the rest of it, you definitely want to check out what the rest of the DT have come up with!!
