I’m back today because it’s time for the Neat & Tangled May release! Today is Release Day, woo hoo!! We have *five* awesome sets being released this month!! And some awesome dies too!! AND some fun new embellishment mixes!! Definitely something for everyone, with some super-versatile sets!!
Our final set of this release is another *awesome* set from Miriam Prantner! For The Record is *perfect* for masculine cards, and for anyone who loves a bit of vintage/vinyl! With a perfectly drawn record player and some killer sentiments, this set is another of my new favourites!!
Here’s what I came up with:
I love how this turned out!
I started by stamping the record player onto wood paper, colouring some sections with Copics, then stamping the sentiment. I trimmed out the player and attached it to a piece of patterned paper from the Crate Paper Boys Rule collection, then adhered that onto another piece of patterned paper from the same collection, and adhered that to my Rustic White card base. The stars are from Planner Blocks.
I stamped the companion sentiment onto another piece of patterned paper, and trimmed and backed that with more wood paper using Pinflair Glue Gel, then adhered to my base using the same to complete my card!
