Hey everyone!
This is my second post of the day. Please scroll down to see the latest Runway Inspired Challenge. 🙂
I’m back today to welcome to Day 1 of the Newton’s Nook March Release!
We have THREE *awesome* sets being released this month – and you’re totally invited to come party with us!
This month we have some really fun cute images that you’re sure to love! We’re kicking off proceedings today with a follow-up to our previous quilled snowflakes set with a flowery alternative – Beautiful Blossoms!
Here’s what I came up with:Â
Sweet huh?
I started with a panel of Pure White cardstock and stamped the flowerhead, stem and sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black ink then watered down a little Distress Paints in Broken China, Wild Honey, Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint to add some arty watercolouring!
I adhered my panel to a Lemon Tart card base using Scor-Tape and added a fun mini library clip from Stampin’ Up! (sadly retired now) and I was all done!
All the Newtonians (that’s what I’ve decided to call us, hehe!) are blog hopping today! Please be sure to join us and hop along and comment on each of the team’s creations! Read on because there’s a prize up for grabs!
Would you like to win Beautiful Blossoms?
This set will be given away to two lucky winners!Â
Here’s how to win:Â
Comment on the NND blog and Design Team and Guest blogs (see list below)! Two winners will be chosen at random from the collective blogs release posts. Make sure to check out each of their blogs and comment for your chance to win. You will not know which blog has been chosen so the more you comment on the better your chances are of winning! You have until Thursday, March 19th at 9pm Central Daylight Time to comment  — winners will be announced on the blog post on Friday, March 20th.Â

Such a simple and pretty card. Love the light color wash showcasing the flower. I just ordered some of those Distress Inks. Can't wait to try out this technique!
Beautiful watercoloring, such a pretty card!
Lovely card! I like how you were able to achieve the water color look without using water color paper. Every time I try to do that it turns out like a hot mess:) The little clip at the top is too cute!
Now that is one very sweet card. Love the idea of the clip and the layers. Love that stamp, too.

Ah, that's because my post went live an hour too early as I did the time difference wrong. It is meant to be Lydia Evans though – I've edited my link so her name is right. 🙂 Thanks for the catch!
