Hey everyone!
This is my second post of the day. Please scroll down to see the latest Cure For The Monday Blues Challenge. 🙂
I’m back today with a special Newton’s Nook Blog Hop!
With Valentine’s Day fast approaching we thought it would be fun to each come up with a little treat and corresponding packaging or tag to give you tons of inspiration!!
Here’s what I came up with:
I love how this turned out!!
I decided to keep it sweet and simple (emphasis on both!) and created a fun, shaped tag with the cupcake from Love À La Carte, stamping it with Versafine Onyx Black ink and watercolouring it with SU! ink in Blushing Bride, Crisp Cantaloupe, Strawberry Slush, Primrose Petals, Baked Brown Sugar and Bermuda Bay. I also added a little Perfect Pearls Mist in Heirloom Gold to pretty it up. 🙂 I punched a tiny hole in it and threaded it, tying it to a fun test tube of sprinkles with some gold cord to finish. 🙂
All the Newtonians (that’s what I’ve decided to call us, hehe!) are blog hopping today! Please be sure to join us and hop along and comment on each of the team’s creations! Read on because there’s a prize up for grabs!
Would you like to win a $10 store credit to Newton’s Nook Designs?
We are giving them out to TWO lucky winners!
