It’s time for another Runway Inspired Challenge! I so love creating for these!!

Here’s the *awesome* inspiration image for this challenge: 

Loving all those layers of fuchsia and those sparkly gems!!

Here’s what I came up with:

I love how this turned out!! 

I started with a panel of Pure White cardstock and laid down a wash of water before painting on watered down Distress Inks in picked Raspberry and Festive Berries. I repeated this several times, drying between each layer. I’m hoping it shows in the image but there are a few different swathes of tones in the colour, mimicking the layers of the fabric in the skirt!

I stamped the sentiment from Mama Elephant’s Make A Wish set using a mix of Picked Raspberry and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks. I adhered some hologram sequins (bought from a chain store) and added some Martha Stewart Tinsel Glitter using Multi Matte Medium then adhered my panel to my base using Scor-Tape and I was all done!

So anyway, now I’m all done squealing and monkey clapping with excitement and all the rest of it, you definitely want to check out what the rest of the DT have come up with!!
