Hey everyone!

Happy Monday! I know, I know, Mondays are tough. We all need a little tonic to help us get through the day. Luckily there’s a new challenge in town to help us do just that – the Cure For The Monday Blues Challenge!!

This is a challenge which I’ve created myself, yay me! Every Monday I will bring you a photo inspiration challenge, with images that focus on lifting us out of those Monday doldrums and all inspired to create!! I’ll be asking you to play along as well and linking up your creations! At the end of each week I’ll pick a Top 3 who’ll be my Cures For The Monday Blues and receive a special badge to add to your blog!!

This challenge is really going from strength to strength now – woo hoo!! Thank you to everyone who has given it love and support and helped it to grow – especially the weeks where you’ve been patient with me while I’ve extended the challenges!

Ah, black, gold and white! My heart could not be any happier!!

Here’s what I came up with: 

I love how this turned out! Exactly as I envisaged it!! 

I started with a Smokey Shadow card base and rubbed it all over with the Hero Arts Blackboard ink. When this was dry I stamped the dots from the Bokeh Dots stamp set on the edges using Versamark ink then heat embossed with WOW! Mettalic Gold Rich Pale embossing powder. 

The So Very Blessed stamp from Neat & Tangled could not have been more perfect for this week’s challenge! I stamped it with Versamark and heat embossed with WOW! Metallic Gold Sparkle embossing powder. Finally, I overstamped some more dots using GinaK White Pigment ink and I was all done!

But wait, there’s more!! As Winnie & Walter are sponsoring this month’s challenge, I invited their DT girls to play along!! This week I have the immense pleasure of having Kelly Griglione as my guest! Here’s the amazing card Kelly created:
