Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday!
It’s time for another Runway Inspired Challenge! I so love creating for these!!
Here’s the *awesome* inspiration image for this challenge:
The colours on this one are so striking, and so it that pattern!! Love all those metallic studs!!
Here’s what I came up with:
I love how this turned out!!
I started with a panel of Shimmer Cream cardstock and die cut the edge of it using Mama Elephant’s Landscape Trio dies. I then masked the edge and stamped it with Background Basics: Vines using SU! ink in Crisp Cantaloupe. It was looking a bit pale so I went over it with a Ripe Persimmon Distress Marker.
I used the Memory Box Large Parker Deluxe Upper Case Alphabet dies to die cut some letters from some Add A Little Dazzle Brushed Bronze metal sheets for another project before, and I’d kept all those little dots hoping they’d come in useful – and their time has come! I adhered them to the panel, following the lines, using Glossy Accents.
I then was thinking about what sentiment to use when the large ‘Joy’ sentiment from the Over The Edge: Joy set caught my eye. I stamped it with WPlus9 ink in Old Gold and Versamark ink then embossed it with Ancient Gold embossing powder in Tarnished Gold. I finished the card by stamping the companion sentiment in Crisp Cantaloupe, adding some stars from the Buttercup stamp set, some more metal dots, and a wood veneer star coated in Enamel Accents, then mounted my panel onto a Shimmer Copper card base, with the front die cut to match the panel, and I was all done!
So anyway, now I’m all done squealing and monkey clapping with excitement and all the rest of it, you definitely want to check out what the rest of the DT have come up with!!
Thanks so much for joining me today and sharing in my excitement!! I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way!

stunning! I love the lines and how they match the lines in the dres.
That over the edge Joy just pushed me over the edge in LOve! So beautiful, Taheerah! I've not seen anything like it!

gorgeous card, Taheerah!!
Gorgeous! I love that this card works in both portrait and landscape, and that's a lot of gold dots, but totally worth the effort!
Oh, this is wonderful…love how you were inspired!
