I’m back today to welcome to Day 4 of the Newton’s Nook Holiday Release!
We have FIVE *awesome* sets being released this month – and you’re totally invited to come party with us!
This month we’re getting into the Holiday spirit! Today’s set sees the return of Newton getting up to some holiday mischief – Newton’s Curious Christmas!!
I love every image in this set so it was so hard picking one to use for today’s card! I opted for the one of Newton gazing up at the moon and Santa. Here’s what I came up with:
What do you think? I’m pretty happy with how this turned out!
I started by stamping Newton onto a Rustic White card base and colouring him with Copics. It’s difficult to see in the photo but I also added some Perfect Pearls to the moon to make it glow! I then trimmed around Newton to make a shaped card!
The rest of my card came together pretty easily – ink blending with Distress Inks in Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot, flicking on some water mixed with Perfect Pearls, and stamping the sentiment and then stamping the snowflakes and I was all done!
