Hey everyone!
This is my second post of the day! Please scroll down to see the latest Cure For The Monday Blues Challenge!
I’m back today to welcome to Day 1 of the Newton’s Nook Holiday Release!
We have FIVE *awesome* sets being released this month – and you’re totally invited to come party with us!
This month we’re getting into the Holiday spirit! Today’s set kicks of a Christmas bonanza of a release with everyone’s favourite bear – that’s right, Winston’s back and featuring in a full size set with Winston’s Home For Christmas!!
With so many fantastic images and sentiments I really was spoilt for choice! I opted for the image of Winston driving his car and came up with this:
What do you think? I love how this turned out!!
I stamped Winston and his car onto some patterned paper from the Glitz Yours Truly collection, and watercoloured him with Distress Markers for a vintage feel. I also inked the edges with Distress Inks in Vintage Photo and Gathered Twigs.
I used some more patterned papers from the Simple Stories Handmade Holiday collection, including the sentiment square and the ticket on which I stamped the sentiment. All was adhered to a Kraft card base and I was all done!
All the Newtonians (that’s what I’ve decided to call us, hehe!) are blog hopping today! Please be sure to join us and hop along and comment on each of the team’s creations! Read on because there’s a prize up for grabs!
Would you like to win Winston’s Home For Christmas?
