Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday!
It’s time for another Runway Inspired Challenge! I so love creating for these!!
Here’s the *awesome* inspiration image for this challenge:
So much to be inspired by here! I love the angles on the dress, as well as those different floral patterned panels! Even the background and shoes are awesome! Here’s what I came up with:
*squeal* I love love *love* how this turned out!! I was going for the panel on the side and think this captured it really well!!
I started with a panel of Pure White card base and pulled out my Papertrey Wildflower Garden stamp set to stamp the abstract floral pattern.
I used Distress Paints in Chipped Sapphire, Broken China, Salty Ocean, Black Soot and Picket Fence for all the florals, spritzing the stamp a couple of times with water mixed with a little Perfect Pearls to get the right effect.
I added some yellow using the reverse of one of the smaller flower stamps, this time using Distress Paint in Mustard Seed with Hero Arts Neon Yellow Paint Dauber mixed in!!
For my sentiment I couldn’t resist reaching for my Altenew Super Script stamp set and stamping it with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I added a companion sentiment from Papertrey’s Wet Paint set and I was all done!!
So anyway, now I’m all done squealing and monkey clapping with excitement and all the rest of it, you definitely want to check out what the rest of the DT have come up with!!
Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp so be sure to enter to be in with a chance of an awesome prize!
Thanks so much for joining me today and sharing in my excitement!! I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way!
