Hi everyone! Happy Monday! And what a Monday we have for you today!
Today two of my favourite companies, Pinkfresh Studio and Neat & Tangled, are joining forces for a Super Blog Hop! There’s one today and one tomorrow, and seeing as I’m on the Design Teams for both companies, you’ll be seeing something from me on both days! *wink*
Also, seeing as I was so rubbish with last week’s Cure For The Monday Blues Challenge, I’ve extended the challenge by a week and the card I’m bringing you today is the long-awaited card for last week’s challenge Whew!
I can’t think of two companies that were more made for each other than Pinkfresh Studio and Neat & Tangled. They are both young, energetic and innovative companies, with fantastic designs and an eye for trends! I’ve loved combining their products in the past and today is no exception!
Combining products today led me to this neon-fest:
*squeal* I love how this turned out!
I started by die cutting my speech bubble from Hawaiian Shores cardstock using the A Lot To Say die. I then stamped the star field from Time Warp using Mama Elephant ink in Smoke and then heat embossing it with WOW! Metallic Platinum embossing powder. Next I stamped the sentiments from Gifts For You and You + Me, with the first two sentiments stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink and the last one with Versamark ink and heat embossed with WOW! Opaque Bright White embossing powder. I then adhered a Pinkfresh Studio Neon Instaframe on top.
Next I adhered the bubble to a Pure White card base, sandwiching some white punchinella between them and using Pinflair Glue Gel to hold all in place. I added some of the Pinkfresh Colour Block Hearts, Arrows and Envelopes using Pinflair, and one of the Vacation Chips too! Love all those pops of colour!
Not done with being showy though, I added some neon yellow sequins and ombre airmail washi tape to finish things up! I just love how this card turned out!
So I mentioned a Blog Hop right? Well you can’t have a Blog Hop without a giveaway!
We have a list of designers from both companies here who are so thrilled to share their projects with you. Make sure to visit each blog and comment on each blog to enter a giveaway including the Pinkfresh Studio blog. One winner will be chosen for each day who will receive $20.00 worth of products from both companies. This is going to be 2 days of blog hopping fun. Winners will be announced on 27th July. Good luck!
Also, I mentioned Cure For The Monday Blues Challenge, didn’t I?!
Hopefully you can see where I picked my inspiration from! The colours from the typewriter, the neon yellow of the lamp and the general wood from the shelving were calling my name!
You can find the original Challenge and post here, and I’ve added the Inlinkz to the bottom of this post too so you don’t have to go anywhere else if you don’t want to!
Here’s how to participate in the challenge!
