Hey everyone!
Happy Monday! I know, I know, Mondays are tough. We all need a little tonic to help us get through the day. Luckily there’s a new challenge in town to help us do just that – the Cure For The Monday Blues Challenge!!
This is a challenge which I’ve created myself, yay me! Every Monday I will bring you a photo inspiration challenge, with images that focus on lifting us out of those Monday doldrums and all inspired to create!! I’ll be asking you to play along as well and linking up your creations! At the end of each week I’ll pick a Top 3 who’ll be my Cures For The Monday Blues and receive a special badge to add to your blog!!
This challenge is in its nineteenth week now – woo hoo!! Thank you to everyone who has given it love and support and helped it to grow!

So are you excited to get this week’s challenge under way?! Let’s see what’s up for this week’s inspiration:

I just love this cute, sweet little room!! So soothing and happy and full of joy!
Here’s my take on the inspiration:
I love love *love* how this turned out!!
I started with a panel of Rustic White cardstock and stamped built up my oh-so-cute banner with stamps from the Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine stamp set. I have been dying to play with this set for ages!!
I stamped the string using Soft Stone ink (stamped off once), then added the stars with WPlus9 ink in Wild Mango (stamped off once but then stamped twice – it *does* make a difference, honest!), the raindrops with WPlus9 ink in Lake House, the hearts with Mama Elephant ink in Lollipop, and the moons with PTI’s Classic Kraft ink.
I then stamped the solid clouds using Kraft ink (stamped off once) followed by the dotted outlines (sometimes stamped off, sometimes not). I added the *adorable* faces using the stamp from Let’s Roll, and the blushing cheeks were using one of the raindrop stamps from Hello Sunshine with a little of the Mama Elephant ink in Bubble Gum swiped off to make them round!! I added a little Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen to the clouds (because I just couldn’t help it!) the stamped the sentiment using SU! ink in Soft Suede. I scored some grooves to match the walls, before adhering my panel to my Pure White card base and I was all done!!
So now it’s your turn to cure the Monday Blues! Here’s how to participate in the challenge!
