Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday!
I’m back to welcome to Day 2 of the Newton’s Nook March Release!
We have three *awesome* sets being released this month – and you’re totally invited to come party with us!
Today’s set is a cute little birdie set called Easter Scramble!! This cute little set is another of the brand new 4″x3″ mini size and contains some adorable egg shells, a cute little chick, versatile sentiments and more!!
I actually decided to use the smallest image in the set – the little flower – and created this:
*squeal* I love this so so so so much!!! I really wish this had been the last set that we showcased as this is by far my favourite project of this release!!!
I started with a Pure White card base and stamped the flower repeatedly using Versafine Onyx Black ink to cover the card completely! I then watercoloured it with Distress Inks in Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Broken China, Peacock Feathers, Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick, using water mixed with Perfect Pearls for added shimmer! I left just about enough space for the sentiment which I stamped with Versafine and Versamark ink and heat embossed with Filigree Black embossing powder and I was all done! I am completely in love with how this turned out!!!
