Hey everyone! Happy Sunday!!
Today I’m sharing a card for the latest Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge – woo!!
Today’s challenge is a Picture Perfect challenge, meaning we’re working from a beautiful inspiration photo to SPARK that creativity. Here is this month’s inspiration image:
Gorgeous, right?!
Here’s what I created:
I really love how this turned out!!
I started by drawing a heart shape lightly onto my I Steel Got It card base using a pencil. I then filled in the shape with lots of hearts from the Sweet Hearts set – love how this turned out! I used Mama Elephant inks in Blush and Bubble Gum, and Golden Glitz Delicata ink.
I heat embossed all the gold hearts with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Pale embossing powder.
I stamped part of the sentiment from Love-Struck using Versafine Onyx Black ink for a little contrast and to complete the sentiment. Love the final result!
So I reckon you will be feeling inspired enough already from that gorgeous image, but you really should check out the rest of our Design Team today to see the amazing eye candy they’ve come up with today:
Wanna play along? You really should!! All you need to do is create an entry based on the inspiration image and using Paper Smooches stamps/dies and link it up on the Paper Smooches SPARKS blog you’re in! The challenge runs until 11:59pm PST on Saturday 15th February so you’ve got a little time to play along!! We can’t wait to see what you create!!
That’s it from me for today, but I would love it if you would leave some love before you went on your way! Thanks so much for stopping by!
