Hey everyone!

Today is Day 3 of the Neat & Tangled February Release! You will go absolutely crazy for the awesomeness we’re bringing you for this month!! Definitely something for everyone, with some super-versatile sets!!

Today I’m helping to introduce another amazing set designed by my good friend Miriam Prantner!! It is my absolute honour to help introduce her newest set Stop And Go!! Miriam really has a great eye for unique sets and this traffic lights inspired set is full of great images and sentiments that really work for so many occasions!!

I guess I was thinking of two of my favourite designers, Julie Ebersole and Jennifer Rzasa when I came up with this:

I am so in love with how this turned out!!

I started by watercolouring my Pure White card base using Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade and Broken China. When dry I stamped the traffic light using Versafine Onyx Black ink.

I wanted that Dymo label kind of look so I heat embossed my sentiment onto a piece of Pure White cardstock using Versamark ink to stamp and WOW! Opaque Bright White embossing powder to emboss. I then applied my ink pad directly to the strip to make it black! I adhered in place using Pinflair Glue Gel then stamped the walking man next to it!

As a final touch I added some Shape ‘n’ Tape washi tape and that finished everything off nicely!

I do strongly encourage you to visit the Neat & Tangled Blog to see what the rest of the DT has created and to hop along and leave them some love!

Thanks so much for stopping by – I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way!

  1. Love the watercoloring under the stop light- it reminds me of the guerilla art movement in the city- little splashes of art in an urban setting. So pretty! 🙂

  2. I love the colors and inking. The sentiment turned out great and the Washi at the bottom did finish it off. I like the contrast of the stripes and watercolor inking. Super job!

  3. Fabulous showcase of this oh-so-unique new release! The combination of water-colouring and Dynamo-label lettering is absolutely eye-catching. So very cool!!
