Hey everyone!
I’m back with my second post of today! Please scroll down to check out this week’s Cure For The Monday Blues Challenge!!
So it’s time for the Neat & Tangled February Release! You will go absolutely crazy for the awesomeness we’re bringing you for this month!! Definitely something for everyone, with some super-versatile sets!!
Today I’m helping to introduce a new set called Hope Anchors. This is an adorable little set featuring a tattoo/hand-lettering style sentiment which ties in perfectly with the anchor that forms part of the image!
Here’s what I put together with this little beauty:
I love how soft and serene this card is – perfect for the sentiment!!
I started with a Pure White card base and stamped the strips from On The Strip 2 using Mama Elephant ink in Blush, Simon Says Stamp ink in Sea Glass, Papertrey Ink ink in Vintage Cream and Versamagic Ink in Aquatic Splash. I enjoyed changing up the widths of the stripes and stopping part-way down the card base. I impressed the bottom part with the Burlap Impression Plate to give it a more nautical feel. I flicked on some Heidi Swapp Colour Shine Mist in Gold Lame to the top half only to add a touch of glam.
Next came that sentiment! I stamped it on some torn vellum using Delicata Ink in Golden Glitz, and adhered the panel in place using Pinflair Glue Gel. I added a scattering of yummy sequins and that was my card all done!
I do strongly encourage you to visit the Neat & Tangled Blog to see what the rest of the DT has created and to hop along and leave them some love!
Thanks so much for stopping by – I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way!
Supplies:
I love the look of the vellum over the pastel stripes. Beautiful card.
I like the soft look of the background stamping and how it still shows through the vellum. The gold stamping and sequins are great. Super job.
