Hey everyone! Happy Saturday – and more than that, Happy World Card Making Day! I hope you’ve been having a fun crafty day!
Well, with it being a day dedicated to making cards I had to make at least one, right? *wink*
Here’s what resulted from my play today:
What do you think? I’m pretty happy with it!
I started with a piece of acetate and die cut the speech bubble from the X-Cut Die-licious Speech Bubbles dies. I then used the negative of this as a mask and sponged the shape repeatedly onto my Stamper’s Select White card base using Raspberry Fizz ink and SU! inks in Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight.
Next I created the main speech bubble using the Simon Says Stamp Life Bubble Vertical die. I wanted a more kooky shape though so I trimmed it into a new bubble using scissors, then stamped the sentiment from Mama Elephant’s Big Words set using Memento Luxe ink in Tuxedo Black.
I adhered my bubble to my base using Pinflair Glue Gel then added a strip of POW! Black Glitter Paper and added some enamel dots to finish off!
Well that’s all from me for today, but I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way! Thanks so much for stopping by!
