Java Love

Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday!

More Reverse Confetti today – and this time I’ve gone completely to the geek side with Lighthearted Letters:

I am just *giddy* over this one!!! Pure geek Heaven!

So, as part of my job I have been learning a bit of coding. One of the languages I’ve been poking my nose into a little is Java, and that’s the language that I’ve used for this card to print ‘I Love You’!

I started with a Smokey Shadow card base and stamped the letters with WPlus9’s White Pigment ink. I took a little too long over this so had to go over the letters with a Versamarker before heat embossing with WOW! Opaque Bright White embossing powder.

Next I rubbed the whole card front with Memento Luxe ink in Tuxedo Black. I kinda wish I’d omitted this step as it really dulled the embossing powder. I coloured some of the letters with Copics to resemble code more closely, and used a white gel pen to help the white pop again. And that was it!

More Reverse Confetti tomorrow! I’ve really enjoyed showcasing their products so far! Thanks so much for stopping by – I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way!
