Hey everyone! Happy Sunday!
Today I’m bringing you the first of a mini series that I started teasing about a week ago! I am very excited to present Couture Christmas!!
Some of you who follow my blog may remember me saying I planned to create Christmas cards this year and actually send them out to people! I started designing cards last weekend and found that what I was creating was closer to a boutique stationery collection, in my opinion at least! Some of these are so lush I don’t want to send them out – but I will!!
There will probably be around 5 collections I will bring you, one a week from now, and covering a range of styles of cards, from graphic/modern, to cutesy, to traditional/solemn, to vintage, to just plain extravagant! I can hardly wait!!
Each collection will be a limited run of exclusive designs, and will be beautifully packaged and presented. I’m still working on concepting the packaging part, but it will be stunning!!
Right, I can’t wait anymore!! Let’s get started, shall we?!
Last Sunday I shared this Sneak Peek:
Ready to see more?!
Presenting… Collection 1:
Couture Christmas: Collection 1 – Peace Love Joy Present
Limited Run of 5
Presented and packaged in gift boxes
Style: Graphic
Eeeeeeeeeeeeee!! I love this collection so so much!! It looks so much like a gift that it could be one!! And check out that watermark too!! Pretty fancy huh?!
I am planning only a limited run of 5 for this collection as the ribbon isn’t the cheapest out there, and with that big puffy bow I am going to have to send them out in boxes or hand deliver them! But won’t it be worth it?! Can you imagine opening up a gift box and finding this beauty inside?! Love!!
I started with a Sterling Silver card base and tied that big beautiful bow with 24 Karat Gold Metallic Wired ribbon.
For the tag I trimmed a piece of cardstock to size, pressed my Versamark inkpad all over it and heat embossed with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Pale embossing powder. I then stamped the letters from Mama Elephant’s Midnight Letters set on top of the gold embossed surface and heat embossed them with WOW! Metallic Silver embossing powder. I curled the tag with my fingers then adhered it to the base using Pinflair Glue Gel then stepped back to oooh and aaah over all that gold!!
So I’m dying to know what you all think so far!! Each one of the collections will be completely different so I do hope you’ll keep tuning in to see them each week!!
Thanks so much for stopping by – I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way!
