Today’s card is sort of influenced by Julie Ebersole‘s card here:
Does that make it a CASE? I’m gonna say no as I don’t like CASEing, lol.
Anyway, I loved the bright, modern interpretation of Fall on Julie’s card, so the spirit of that is in my card:
What do you think? I really love how this turned out!
I started by taking one of the feathers from Fine Feathers, which was still on my desk from yesterday. I inked up the feather using SU! inks in Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Pistachio Pudding and Pool Party, misted with water and stamped onto Stamper’s Select White cardstock to create those beautiful abstract watercolour feathers. Love.
I then took a Stamper’s Select White card base and stamped part of it with the Hero Arts Tiny Ink Spots Background stamp using Soft Stone ink. I adhered two strips of that POW! Glitter Paper and then stamped the sentiment from Think Big Favourites #19 using Versamark ink and heat embossed it with WOW! Metallic Silver embossing powder. I seem to be loving silver at the moment – shhh don’t tell my usual favourite gold that’s it’s got competition, lol!
I trimmed out my feathers and adhered them to the base using Pinflair Glue Gel and that was me all done!
