Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday – and welcome to the Lil’ Inker Designs September Release!!
Can you believe we’re at the September release *already*?! I can’t!!
This release is a really awesome one – just you wait and see what we’ve got in store for you – literally!
You should have made your way over here from the totally talented Suzanne’s blog. If not then feel free to head back to the Lil’ Inker Designs blog and start again!
This month we are showcasing the products in any order we choose! I think this is super fun as you’ll see a bit of everything from everyone each day – definitely worth hopping to every single DT member’s blog for this!! AND we have an *amazing* Guest Designer this month – check out the Lil’ Inker Designs blog for more info!!
And just to reiterate – it is well worth hopping and commenting as there’s a chance to win prizes! This month there are 2 $10 store credits up for grabs that will be selected at random from one of our blogs!!
BTW – did you know we have a new blog address now? Please update yourselves to http://lilinkerdesigns.com/blog/ today!!
So today I’m showing you a bit from an awesome little set and its accompanying dies – Bats & Broomsticks!! This is a *great* set for Halloween, and the dies make it super-easy to be versatile with it too!
I decided to create a little gift tag/treat pocket to show you today, and ended up with something I am affectionately calling the Double Trouble Treat Tag:
I just love this!!
I started with die cutting a tag using the Folding Tag die, and in a rare occurrence for me broke out the Distress Inks in Dusty Concord and Spiced Marmalade to add some colour to the tag. *Love* the way the colours blend here – very Halloween-y!
On the plain side of the die I added a stamped and cut out witch, adhered with Pinflair Glue Gel, and added the awesome sentiment. I agree with this one, don’t you? *wink*
On the folded side I stamped some of the bats, part of a different sentiment, and added a die-cut witch. The best thing about this die? You can flip the witch over to marry up the other side!
So, now you’ve seen all this awesome loot – maybe you ought to head over to the Lil’ Inker Designs site and take a look around! Tell ’em Taheerah sent ya, lol! In the meantime I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way! Thanks so much for stopping by – and please tune in later today for the first day of StampSpotlight!
