Continuing the theme of using new supplies, I received my latest order from Neat & Tangled today, containing probably some of my most favourite sets from them to date! So trendy, so fun, so me!!
I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the Ink Splash set, having missed out on it when it was first released, and thankfully when it was back in stock the Everyday Circles set was still there too, so both came to live with me!
I’ve lots of things I want to try with these sets, but for today here’s a first play:

I started with a Lemon Tart card base and stamped the large ink splat using SU! Blushing Bride ink first, before then overstamping with Distress Paint in Spun Sugar. I then stamped a secondary splat using SU! Daffodil Delight ink.
I added the circle using Versafine Onyx Black ink, using a stamp positioner so I could stamp it twice. The kind of marbled effect you see is due to stamping onto the paint when it wasn’t fully dry – not an intended effect but I kinda like it!
A rounded corner finished up this baby, along with some messing with the card proportions until they were as I liked!

Soooo awesome! And both of these stamps on are on my "to purchase" next stamping-shopping spree I go on! Love them!
Love the ink splashes and love that the pink one is over top of the sentiment!
