Hey everyone! How was your Monday?
Today’s card is for someone I know whose heart is hurting. I wanted to create something poignant and heartfelt but not too sentimental:
What do you think? I really love how this turned out!
I started with a piece of Melon Berry cardstock and stamped the heart shaped plaster from Paper Smooches’ First Aid Kit set using You’re A Natural Darling ink. I then overstamped it with Kraft ink. I stamped one of the strips from On The Strip 2 using You’re A Natural Darling ink then overstamped the heart and cut out just the centre portion. I adhered this to my trimmed out heart using Pinflair Glue Gel.
I stamped the sentiment onto my Rustic White card base with the MFT Typewriter Alphabet set using Tempting Turquoise ink. I then adhered my heart to the base using Pinflair Glue Gel.
I also did the inside of the card, just to reinforce the sentiment.
Well I have a ton of things to do before bed, including getting ready for StampSpotlight tomorrow! I do hope you’ll be joining me for that tomorrow, but in the meantime I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Love your simple yet so awesome designs! This one is extra special with the blue ink and the heart!
Love this!
What a sweet card – the icing on the cake is your stamping inside. So sweet and touching.
Hugs!

This is so sweet!
such a sweet, clever card. The "promise" on the inside sealed the deal for me.
This is such a cute and clever idea! Love it!
Oh I just love this! I sadly know 2 people in my life who could use a sweet card like this! Thanks for the inspiration!
Awww … I like this one! Really sweet of you! Reminds me of one I made here for someone going through a tough time too: http://cardsbycara.blogspot.ca/2013/02/embrace-negative-space-clean-and-simple.html
