Tuesday Trigger: A Painterly Palette

Hey everyone! I hope you’ve had a great weekend!

Today I thought I’d create a card for the latest Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger: A Painterly Palette:

*Love* those colours, and the circles and paint! I decided to be a little loose with my layout and just let the artist in me take over:

What do you think? I love how this turned out!

I started with a panel of Stamper’s Select White cardstock. I used the reverse of one of the circle images from On Target (for the imperfect circle look I’ve been loving so much lately) and stamped it repeatedly using a range of Distress Paints.

I misted the stamp before stamping to get a watered, more abstract look, and added a few drops from above too!

I used the splatter image from the Hero Arts Brush Strokes set to add some little directional splatter, selectively inking the stamp to get the effect I wanted.

Finally I added the sentiment from Reverse Confetti’s Dream In Colour set using Versafine Onyx Black ink then mounted my panel onto my card base using Pinflair Glue Gel. I’ve been missing having layers on my cards, lol!

Well I can’t believe the weekend is over already! Guess I better go prepare myself for another crazy week of work, lol! I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way! Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. What a smashing card, Taheerah! So wonderfully artistic! My favorite part … how you have the red circle on the bold part of your sentiment. Just perfect! Big congrats on your win : )

  2. Such a fun card… the watercolor effect is so wonderfully loose and just perfect with the sentiment. Nice job on the Tuesday Trigger. Congrats on a well-deserved shout out!

  3. Hey Taheerah! Thanks for linking this up to this week's Tuesday Trigger in the Moxie Fab World! I'm so glad you joined in on all the fun! 🙂
