Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!
Well I guess I was still in the ‘Mother’s Day’ headspace as today I’m bringing you a card for a mother:
What do you think? I’m not too sure about this one so would like some opinions!
I started with a Rustic White card base and stamped part of it with the Hero Arts Tweed Pattern stamp. I then adhered a piece of patterned paper from the My Mind’s Eye Howdy Doody collection using Scor-Tape.
I added a strip of Scor-Tape to one side, burnished on some WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Pale embossing powder and then heat embossed it. I then stamped the flowers from Lace Bouquet using Versamark ink then heat embossed using WOW! Opaque Seafoam White embossing powder.
For the remaining touches, I used the Lil’ Inker Designs Mom Word die to impress the word into the card, then inked the die edges with Versamark, pressed it in again and heat embossed with gold again. Finally I added an accompanying sentiment from Irresistibly Ikat and heat embossed with gold.
I’m still not back into a proper crafting groove, hopefully tonight I can have a proper go at creating something better! In the meantime I would love it if you left some love before you went on your way! Thanks for stopping by!
