Wishing You

Hey everyone! Happy Thursday!

I did it! I finally managed to create and post at a more sociable hour, lol!

And I hope you’ll like what I have today, it’s a real mix of elements to create something that I think is quite ‘me’:

What do you think? Really love how this turned out!

I started with a Stamper’s Select White card base and adhered some neon yellow washi tape to the sides. I then spritzed and splattered with Heidi Swapp Colour Shine Mists in Black Velvet and Tropicana Teal.

Next I stamped the flower and leaves from Uniko Studio’s Pure Florals: Chrysanthemum set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured with Copic markers. I used a Memento Tuxedo Black marker to add an extra petal and correct a couple of imperfections in my stamping as well. I trimmed out all my elements carefully and adhered in place with Pinflair Glue Gel. This super-awesome set was a sell-out during the April Release and it’s easy to see why! It has just come back into stock though so go grab yourself one before they fly out again!

Next I stamped the sentiments from Mama Elephant’s So Breezy set onto Paint The Town Pink cardstock using Versamark ink and heat embossed with WOW! Opaque Bright White embossing powder. I trimmed the words out and adhered to the base using a new toy – a Xyron/Teresa Collins Mega Runner! I’m not sure what to make of this contraption just yet (but at least it allowed me to use the word ‘contraption’ – awesome) – the adhesive is good but my applying it in a straight line is not!

Well, that’s it from me for today. I’m heading back to the craft room to whip up more goodies! I do hope you’ll leave some love before you head on your way! Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. A card that is totally you, no doubt! Absolutely LOVE it! Why? The colors, the fact that you made yourself another leaf, the black highlighting your flower, and your cut up words (especially loving how "happiness" is cut in half). Wonderful!

  2. Hi T! I love the colors – the light pink is an awesome surprise pairing with the neon and I love how the sentiment was broken up onto those rectangles – a technique that I must try!
