Hi everyone! Happy Easter Sunday!
I’m sorry this post is so late. I’m going to blame the clocks going forward in the UK, coupled with a bad night’s sleep, for my crafting being completely out of whack today! I managed to create one card in the morning but then it took me *aaaages* to complete the one I’m posting today!
So, I wanted to create a little card for Easter. Seeing as I had the cutest little bunny stamp ever I just had to use him!
See what I mean?! I love this little bunny so much! Look at his little face! It’s like he doesn’t know what to do, aww! Reminds me of one of my cats, Leo. He has a face like that. 🙂
I started with stamping and trimming out my bunny from Rustic White cardstock. I stamped him with a mix of Kraft and SU! Soft Suede inks. The bunny is from a sadly retired We R Memory Keepers set – so glad I nabbed it before it went out of circulation!
I then set about creating all my little Easter eggs. They are from Friendship Jar Spring Fillers and were stamped using Versamark onto Pink Shimmer, Blue Shimmer, Lemon Tart, Leek-ed to The Press and VIP Purple cardstock. I heat embossed them with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Pale embossing powder and then trimmed them out.
I prepared my mini card base (this little cutie is only 2.75″ square!) by stamping the grass from Love Lives Here using Limeade Ice ink, then splattering with various Heidi Swapp Colour Shine mists and one Glimmer Mist (see supplies below). I then adhered all my elements using Pinflair Glue Gel and added the sentiment from Sweet Spring. Voilà !
Well, I hope you’ve all had a lovely Easter! I’ve a ton to do over this coming week but thankfully I am holiday to be able to do it! I’ll be back tomorrow with a post that’s hopefully at the normal time(!), as well as a preview sneak peek for the next StampSpotlight! Yes, it’s back, yippee!!!
