Hey everyone! Happy Friday! Happy February! January just went in the blink of an eye didn’t it?!
This is my second post for today. I know – 2 posts! To take a look at my 14 Days of Valentine’s Cards Series and the Day 1 offering click here or scroll down. 🙂
Today I’m sharing the card I’ve made for Day 4 of the Clean & Simple Card Making 2 class:
Our challenge today was to create a card which utilised white/negative space. I have really loved pushing myself in this direction lately so I was ready for this challenge!
YEAH! How about that for white space baby?! (Ahem, I might be a tad excited about this card as I love it *so* much!).
I started with a Rustic White card base and stamped it with the Lawn Fawn Belinda’s Borders set. I used A:Muse inks in Grapefruit, Apricot, Buttercup, Blush and Watermelon.
I then added the sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp You set using Versafine Onyx Black ink.
And that’s all there is to it!
Well, I have an *extremely* best crafting weekend ahead – as well as fitting in all the other things of course! I’ll see you all back here tomorrow – thanks so much for stopping by!
Fantastic – and you say CAS is not your strong point – PAH!
LOVE this!! Such a Sweet Card…..
My new favorite. This is brilliant.
Love, love, love it, Taheerah! It is amazing what you did with a little stripey stamp, such a wonderful way to ground the bold sentiment!
Fabulous, T! Rocking the white space & being a total boffin with this class – I love what you've created so far! Great to see you embrace your inner CAS!
Hugs!
